Garlic fingers come first on the Greco Pizza menu, ahead of the pizza. That ordering tells you where this chain grew up: garlic fingers and donair are Atlantic Canadian staples, and here they get the first two sections of a 245-item list before a single pizza is named.

Garlic Fingers runs $9.49 small, $15.49 medium, $19.99 large and $25.99 party — and three of those four numbers turn up again immediately, because pizza is priced on exactly the same scale. Donair is measured in meat rather than diameter: $8.29 for a quarter pound, $11.29 for a half, $14.29 for three quarters, a steady $3.00 per additional quarter pound.

One price per size, twelve ways

Small, Medium, Large and Party Pizza are four separate sections carrying the same twelve recipes each — GrecoWorks, Mighty Meaty, Pepperoni Duo, Donair, Canadian, SuperWorks, BBQ Chicken, Butter Chicken, Veggie, Hawaiian, Garlic Finger and Cheese. Within a size every one of the twelve costs the same: $9.49 small, $15.49 medium, $20.49 large, $25.99 party. A plain cheese pizza and a fully loaded SuperWorks are the same money, which is unusual enough to be worth planning around.

The gluten-free line breaks that flat pricing in the only way it can. GlutenGone is offered at medium only, and all nine of its items — eight pizzas plus garlic fingers — are $18.74. Against the $15.49 medium, that is a $3.25 premium for the base.

The sub half of the menu

Greco carries the Capt. Submarine list inside its own menu, and at 59 items it is by far the largest section here — a quarter of everything on the page, and the source of both the $0.99 single cookie at the bottom of the price range and a $69.99 Gourmet Party Box near the top. Separately, OvenSub is a nine-recipe baked sub sold in two lengths at fixed prices: $8.99 for a half, $12.99 for a full, whether you order Donair, Bacon Cheeseburger, Southwest Steak or Veggie. Calzone works the same way — all seven fillings are $11.99.

Deals and catering set the ceiling

The Deals section is the second largest at 34 items and is where combinations live: a Large Pizza & Large Garlic Fingers or a Pizza and Fingers Combo at $28.99, a Family Meal Deal at $36.99, a Family Party with four pop and three items at $38.99, an East Coast Kitchen Party at $39.99.

Above them, Catering is five bundles that scale by head count, and it holds the highest price on the menu: Feed 35 — five party pizzas plus two party garlic fingers — at $182.99. Feed 15 is $84.99 and Feed 10 is $68.99. Buying the components separately at party size would run $155.94 for five pizzas alone, so the bundles are priced below the sum of their parts.

Dips are the other end entirely. Fourteen of them — creamy garlic, donair, marinara, cheddar chipotle, southwest, wing sauce and the rest — are $1.20 each, and they are a large part of why 48 items here fall under $5 and 126 under $10 on a menu whose average is $13.52.

Do prices vary across Canada?

Greco is an Atlantic Canadian chain and its stores are independently operated, so the same order can be billed differently in Moncton than it is in a rural New Brunswick or Newfoundland location. Deals and Catering bundles in particular are promotional by nature and change more often than the core size grid. Nothing here includes HST.
