Firehouse Subs Menu With Prices In Canada

Firehouse Subs draws more Canadian search demand than any other brand of its size on this site — "firehouse subs menu" alone runs at 17,000 searches a month — yet the menu behind it is only 76 items, and 43 of those are the same subs listed twice, once at 7–8 inches and once at 11–12.

The Medium-to-Large step is the number worth knowing, and unlike most sub chains it is not consistent. On the three cheapest Build Your Own subs — Smoked Turkey Breast, Honey Ham and Roast Beef, all $9.99 Medium — the Large is $12.49, a $2.50 jump. On Pulled Chicken Breast the same jump is $4.90, from $11.59 to $16.49. Corned Beef and Pastrami both go $12.19 to $15.94, and Veggie $10.81 to $14.81.

The Hot Specialty list behaves the same way. Hook & Ladder is the entry point at $10.15 Medium and $13.69 Large; Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket is the top at $12.69 and $17.46. Firehouse Meatball, Sweet & Spicy Meatball and Pepperoni Pizza Meatball sit in between. The one sub sold in a single size is the New! Pastrami Reuben at $11.99.

Below five dollars, nothing costs more than $2.99

Twenty-six items clear that bar and they are almost entirely packaged goods. All twelve bags of chips are $1.79 — Lay's Classic, Lay's Ketchup, Ruffles All Dressed, three Miss Vickie's, two Doritos, Cheetos, SunChips and Baked Lays — and so are all three cookies. Garlic White and Garlic Wheat Bread are $1.50 each, the two things on the menu that cost the least. A Brownie is $2.49, bottled water $2.89, Coke or Chocolate Milk $2.99.

Soup, chili and the dessert ladder

Broccoli Cheese and Tomato Basil soups are both $4.94 a bowl and Firehouse Chili is $5.29. Dessert bundles barely reward the bigger order at all: $4.79 for three, $10.00 for six, $19.24 for twelve — about $1.60 a piece at three, $1.67 at six and $1.60 again at twelve. The twelve-bundle is nonetheless the most expensive single line Firehouse Subs Canada lists.

Kid's Combos are four lines: Combo Hot Grilled Cheese at $5.99, and Combo Hot Turkey, Ham and Meatball at $6.47 each.

Do prices vary across Canada?

Firehouse Subs restaurants in Canada are franchised, and the board price on an identical sub can differ between a suburban plaza and a downtown or transit-adjacent store. Everything listed is before sales tax, which varies by province. The Medium-to-Large gaps are the most portable thing on this page — they hold their shape even when the base price moves.
