King Tandoori Menu With Prices in Canada

King Tandoori's Curry Corner runs to 37 dishes and 36 of them cost $14.00. Butter Chicken, Goat Curry, Palak Paneer, Lamb Keema Matar, Dal Makhni — one price. Only Fish Curry, at $15.00, breaks the line.

Flat pricing across a curry list that wide is unusual, and it changes how you read the rest of the board. There is no vegetarian discount and no meat premium here: a bowl of Yellow Dal and a bowl of Bhuna Gosht cost exactly the same. If you want to spend less, you move to a different section, not to a different protein.

The Lunch Specials do that job. Seven items, all $12.00 — Veggie, Fish, Chicken Tikka and Lamb rolls, a roll with pop included, and a Veg or Meat Thali. That is $2.00 below a curry and it comes with the accompaniments built in.

Tandoori is the section with real spread

Twenty items run from $5.00 to $21.00. The paneer and soya chaap dishes anchor the low end — Paneer Tikka and Haryali Paneer Tikka at $13.00, Tandoori Malai Chaap, Afghani Soya Chaap, Tandoori Soya Chaap and Mint Soya Chaap at $14.00 — with Tandoori Mushroom at $12.00. Chicken preparations form a $17.00 tier: Malai Tikka, Chicken Tikka, Mint Chicken Tikka, Reshmi Kabab, Chicken Seekh Kebab and Lamb Seekh Kebab. The $21.00 top rung holds Tandoori Chicken, Tandoori Shrimp, Lamb Chops and Tandoori Salmon Fish, with Tandoori Grouper Fish just below at $19.00. Two per-piece items sit outside all of it: a Chicken Leg at $5.00 and Bater/Quail at $8.00.

Rice, bread and the cheapest lines

All four biryanis — lamb, chicken, shrimp and vegetable — are $12.00, while the plainer rices drop fast: Veg, Egg and Chicken Fried Rice at $10.00, Jeera Rice and Jeera Pulao at $7.00, Plain Rice at $5.00. Bread starts at $2.50 for Garlic Naan, the cheapest food item on the menu, and climbs through Lachha Parantha and Chili Roti at $3.50, Parantha/Kulcha at $4.50, to Chicken Naan and Amritsari Kulcha at $6.00.

Fifteen lines fall below $5, split between the drinks list and the dessert list: Pop and Water at $2.00, Masala Tea and Mango Juice at $3.00, Gulab Jamun at $3.00 for two pieces, and the three kulfis — mango, pistachio and stick — at $4.00 each. The Chinese Corner is the one place the menu climbs past the curries without going tandoori: Veg Manchurian Dry, Chili Momos and Chicken Lollipop are $18.00, above every curry on the board.

Do prices vary across Canada?

King Tandoori is an independent restaurant, so this is one kitchen's pricing rather than a chain standard applied across provinces. Independents revise a printed board less often than a franchise system does, but when they do the change usually lands on whole dollars — the flat $14.00 curry line is the kind of figure that moves in one step rather than in cents. Delivery platforms commonly list these dishes above the counter price, and sales tax is extra.
