Montana’s BBQ Bar Menu Prices in Canada

Four of Montana's seven Signature Combos cost exactly the same money: the Rib, Steak, Burger and Chicken Combos for Two are all $44.95. Whichever of the four you pick, dinner for two lands on the same bill — which makes the choice a question of appetite rather than budget.

The other three combos scale up rather than sideways. An Ultimate Appetizer Combo is $49.99, the Southern BBQ Combo for Four is $59.99, and the Family BBQ Combo is $64.99 — the highest price on the menu.

Order à la carte and the steaks give you the clearest ladder: a 7 oz AAA Sirloin is $24.99, a 10 oz is $29.99, and a 12 oz AAA Striploin is $36.99. That striploin also appears in the BBQ Favourites section at $44.39, and the Four-Cheese Spinach Dip is $13.99 as a starter but $16.79 there, so the section a dish is listed under changes what it costs.

Burgers span $14.99 for the Classic BBQ Burger to $19.99 for the Brisket Burger, with the Chipotle Firecracker and Canadian Burger EH! at $18.99 and the Veggie Burger at $17.99. Sandwiches, wraps and tacos cluster tighter, $16.99 to $19.99. The Honkin' Beef Rib at $41.99 is the biggest single plate.

The lunch and kids' end

Montana's Lunch Time Rush is three items: a BBQ Lunch Trio at $12.99, Lunch-Sized Mac 'n Cheese at $12.99 and the Classic BBQ Burger at $14.99 — the burger costs the same at lunch as it does on the main list. Every one of the six kids' plates is under $10, from Scoobi Doo Noodles and Ooey Gooey Grilled Cheese at $6.99 up to Pork Back Ribs and a Kids Burger at $9.99.

Sides, sauces and the things with no price

Sixty-three of 123 items come in under $10, and the sides section is doing most of that work: In-House Baked Cornbread $0.99, Gravy $1.49, Baked Potato, Garlic Mash and Rice Pilaf $2.99 each, French Fries $3.99, Poutine $6.99. Dips and dressings are $0.69 with the exception of guacamole at $1.99. Every one of the four sweets — chocolate cake, donuts, skillet cookie, apple crisp — is $6.99. Six bottles of Montana's own BBQ sauce are on sale at $5.99 each, or three for $15.99.

The Daily Deals section carries no prices at all, because the four entries there are promotions rather than dishes: half-price wings, $5 tacos, all-you-can-eat ribs, and 15% off a minimum $45 purchase. The Daily Drink Deals beside it do have numbers — $4.99 for a 14 oz domestic beer, $5.99 for premium, and $5.99 each for the iced tea, lemonade and Caesar cocktails.

Do prices vary across Canada?

Montana's is a full-service chain and its menu boards are set regionally, so what appears here will not match every dining room in the country — Atlantic, Prairie and Ontario locations do not all run the same numbers. Daily deals in particular are location- and day-specific. Prices exclude tax, and dining in adds a gratuity that these figures do not account for.

Montana’s BBQ Bar — frequently asked questions

How much is a combo for two at Montana's?
$44.95, and the Rib, Steak, Burger and Chicken versions are all the same price. Larger combos go up from there: $49.99 for the Ultimate Appetizer Combo, $59.99 for the Southern BBQ Combo for Four and $64.99 for the Family BBQ Combo.
What do steaks cost at Montana's?
$24.99 for a 7 oz AAA Sirloin, $29.99 for a 10 oz AAA Sirloin and $36.99 for a 12 oz AAA Striploin. The same striploin appears at $44.39 under BBQ Favourites, so check which section you are ordering from.
Is there anything under $10 on the Montana's kids menu?
All of it. The six kids' items run from $6.99 for Scoobi Doo Noodles and the Ooey Gooey Grilled Cheese to $9.99 for Pork Back Ribs and the Kids Burger, with Kids Chicken Fingers at $7.99 and Cheesy Cheese Pizza at $8.99.
Why do the Daily Deals have no prices?
Because they are offers rather than menu items — half-price wings, $5 tacos, all-you-can-eat ribs and 15% off a minimum $45 purchase before tax. What they end up costing depends on what you order them against.
How much is Montana's BBQ sauce to take home?
$5.99 a bottle for the Texas Bold, Apple Butter, Chipotle Honey, Habanero Hot and Steak Sauce, or $15.99 for a three-pack.
