Osmow’s Menu With Prices in Canada

Osmow's sells roughly the same handful of proteins nine different ways, and the price is decided by two questions before anything else: which protein, and regular or large. Chicken is the floor, lamb and Beyond Steak the ceiling, and the regular-to-large step is $3.39 with almost no exceptions anywhere on the menu.

Take chicken through the formats. On the Rocks and On the Stix are both $12.76 regular and $16.15 large. Half and Half is $13.89 and $17.28. On the Veggies is $14.34 and $17.73, On the Salad $14.45 and $17.84, and the Shawarma Poutine is the priciest way to eat it at $15.02 and $18.41. That is a $2.26 spread between the cheapest and dearest chicken platter, against a $3.39 spread between the two sizes of any single one — the size decision costs more than the format decision.

The protein ladder is just as consistent. On the Rocks regular: chicken $12.76, beef $15.58, lamb $16.15, mixed $16.15, Beyond Steak $16.15. Falafel sits level with chicken at $12.76 rather than below it, so the vegetarian option is not the cheap option — it is simply not the expensive one.

The wraps are quoted with a drink included. Almost every line in the Wraps section is sold "w/ pop", which is why a Chicken Shawarma Wrap reads $12.39 regular and $16.34 super while a SAJ Chicken Shawarma Wrap, with no drink attached, is $11.62. The Junior Shawarma section is the genuine budget corner: Junior Chicken and Junior Falafel are $5.97, Junior Beef is $7.69, Junior Lamb and Junior Beyond Steak are $8.23.

The OzBox sits at the top of the composed items, from $16.13 for chicken or falafel to $20.70 for Philly Cheese Steak — the single most expensive item on the menu after the Large Mixed and Large Lamb Poutines at $20.89.

Of the 26 items under $5, most are drinks: every can is $1.99 and every bottled drink, juice and Laban is $3.69. The rest are sides — Medium Stix and Small Rocks at $3.38, a Brownie at $3.99, Large Stix and Medium Rocks at $5.64.

Do prices vary across Canada?

Osmow's locations are independently operated and prices are not uniform across Ontario, Alberta and the other provinces the chain trades in; delivery-app menus in particular tend to carry a markup over in-store boards. The relationships hold better than the absolute figures — the protein ladder and the regular-to-large step survive most local repricing. Add applicable sales tax to everything quoted.
