Pizza Garden Menu With Prices In Canada

Pizza Garden charges nothing to swap wheat for cauliflower. Every pizza on this menu carries the same price on its 10-inch cauliflower crust as on its 14-inch regular one — a Pepperoni is $20.85 either way, a Margherita $19.85 either way — which is unusual enough to be the first thing worth knowing about the list.

Ninety-three of the 165 lines here are pizza, but that is 31 recipes written out three times: cauliflower 10-inch, regular 14-inch, regular 18-inch. Seventeen of them are on the Meat side and twelve on the Veggie side, plus a Create Your Own.

What the third size costs

Going from 14 inches to 18 adds somewhere between $6.60 and $7.60, and it lands in a fairly narrow band. Pepperoni climbs $20.85 to $27.45. The Pizza Formaggio, the cheapest on the menu, goes $19.45 to $26.45. At the top, Calabria, Pancetta and Supremo all run $24.95 to $32.45, and $32.45 is the most expensive single item Pizza Garden sells.

Create Your Own breaks that pattern and is the only line that does: $17.45 at 10 or 14 inches, $22.45 at 18. That is $2 below the cheapest named pizza to start with, and the 18-inch step is $5.00 rather than the usual seven-ish.

Meat, veggie and where they overlap

The two pizza sections are not far apart on price. The veggie list starts at $19.45 for the plain cheese and tops out at $22.85 for Pizza Magic and Quattro Formaggi; the meat list starts at $20.85 for Pepperoni and tops out at $24.95. Several meat pizzas — Hawaiian, Montebello, Prosciutto Funghi at $21.85 — cost less than several veggie ones, so the divide is a category rather than a price tier.

The rest of the kitchen

Seven pastas run $15.50 for the Rigatoni Rose to $19.95 for Traditional Lasagna, with Fettuccine Alfredo Primavera at $15.95 and the Linguine with Prawns and Spaghetti Pomodoro with Meat Balls both at $17.50. Three salads: Caesar and Arugula Spinach at $12.85, Caprese at $15.85.

The Appetizers section is really two things sharing a heading. Half of it is dips and cheeses — Chili Oil at $0.80 is the cheapest thing on the whole menu, then $1.50 for marinara, hot sauce, garlic aioli or BBQ, $2.50 pesto and $2.80 for a two-ounce pot of Grana Padano or Parmesan. The other half is actual starters: Spicy Meatballs Florentina $10.45, Cheesy Garlic Bread $11.85, Prawns Diavolo $13.85, Chicken Wings $14.00, an Antipasto Traditional Platter $18.85, and 20 Wings for $24.00.

Drinks are priced on a grid

The 21-line beer and wine list is six British Columbia brews — Off The Rail, Parallel 49, Steel & Oak, Main Street Brewing — each sold three ways at the same three prices: $5.50 for a 12oz tap pour, $6.75 for a 473ml can, $7.00 for a 16oz tap. Soft drinks are equally regimented: $2.50 a can, $5.20 for a two-litre, across eight brands. San Pellegrino sodas and Minute Maid juices are $3.50.

Do prices vary across Canada?

Pizza Garden is an independent operation rather than a national chain, which means one price list rather than a franchise spread — but it also means the list can change whenever the kitchen decides it should, and a delivery app will typically show a markup over the in-store figure. Provincial and federal sales tax is added on top of everything shown. The structural points here — a free cauliflower swap, a roughly $7 step to 18 inches, one flat beer price — are what to carry into an order.
