Popeyes Menu With Prices In Canada

Most of what looks like 151 separate items at Popeyes is one item counted three times. Sandwiches, wings, nuggets, tenders, fish and shrimp are each listed on their own, then again as a Combo, then again as a Platter — and the surcharge for those upgrades barely moves across the whole menu.

Take the Classic Chicken Sandwich: $8.49 on its own, $11.49 as a Combo, $13.49 as a Platter. Now the Spicy version — $8.49, $11.49, $13.49. The Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich starts higher at $8.99 and lands on $11.99 and $13.99. The Classic Deluxe and Spicy Deluxe start at $9.49 and reach $12.49 and $14.49. In every case the Combo is exactly $3.00 more than the sandwich and the Platter exactly $5.00 more.

The same two steps run through the other sections. 6Pc Wings: $8.99, $11.99, $13.99. 3Pc Tenders: $8.49, $11.99, $13.99 — a slightly wider first step, at $3.50. Butterfly Shrimp: $8.49, $10.99, $12.99. Popcorn Shrimp: $7.49, $9.99, $11.99. Once you know the base price, you can price the meal.

Buying chicken by the piece

Signature Chicken is where the menu stops being a lunch order and starts being a shop. Bone-in chicken is sold at 8, 12, 16 and 20 pieces — $25.99, $32.99, $42.99 and $50.99 — and each of those has a Family Meal counterpart with sides at $32.99, $45.49, $57.99 and $64.49. Tenders shadow the same structure: 8Pc at $20.99 rising to 20Pc at $46.29, with Family Meal versions from $39.99 to $63.29. Nuggets go the other way, down to an 8-piece at $7.49 and up to a 36-piece at $26.99.

Regular and large, and nothing between

The Sides list is the tidiest part of the menu. Coleslaw, Red Beans and Rice, Cajun Fries, Onion Rings, Mashed Potatoes with Cajun Gravy and Macaroni and Cheese are all $3.29 in Regular and $7.29 in Large. Only Cajun Fries and Onion Rings offer a Medium, both at $4.99. Cajun Gravy on its own is $2.79 and $5.79, and Cajun Poutine — a Canada-specific line — is $6.99.

Biscuits are priced per unit and per box: $0.99 for one, $5.79 for six, $9.49 for twelve. That single biscuit is the least expensive thing on the entire menu. At the other end, Beverages are almost entirely two prices — $2.49 medium and $2.79 large — across ten fountain drinks, with bottled juices and Dasani also at $2.79. Desserts are three items: Cinnamon Apple Pie and Strawberry Cream Cheese Fried Pie at $1.99 each, or two apple pies together for $3.50.

Do prices vary across Canada?

Popeyes restaurants in Canada are overwhelmingly franchised, and each operator prices its own board, which is why the same 3Pc Tenders order can differ between two cities in the same province. Airport, highway-service and downtown sites tend to sit at the higher end. Nothing quoted here includes sales tax. The Combo and Platter steps are the part worth carrying with you — those upgrade gaps are far more stable across locations than any individual base price.
