JOEY Menu With Prices in Canada

JOEY is the most expensive restaurant on this site by average item — $23.86 across 118 listings — and one section is responsible. Mains + Steaks holds 29 of those items and runs from $25.00 to $61.25, which is most of the reason only 24 things on the whole menu come in under $10.

Read the steak list carefully, because JOEY prices cuts by ounce and then sells combinations of them. A Joey Classic Sirloin at 7 oz is $40.25. New York at 11 oz is $55.75. The Ribeye at 16 oz is $61.25, tying with Filet Mignon with Peppercorn Sauce for the highest price anywhere on the menu. Steak Frites is the cheaper way into the same category: $34.75 at 6 oz, $38.75 with sirloin at 7 oz, $51.25 with New York at 11 oz.

The combinations are where the arithmetic gets interesting. Filet Mignon paired with Seared Salmon Sushi is $58.75; the Filet Mignon on its own is $58.00, so the sushi adds $0.75 to that plate. Sirloin + Seared Salmon Sushi is $40.75 against $40.25 for the sirloin alone — a $0.50 step. Seared Salmon Sushi ordered by itself from the shares list is $21.25.

JOEY runs a relatively small number of large restaurants, several in downtown cores and airports where rents and wage costs differ sharply from suburban rooms, so a plate in one location can be priced above another in the same province.
