Wok Box Menu Prices In Canada

Wok Box duplicates almost every section: a food list, then a combo list carrying the same names. Line them up and the upcharge is a constant. $4.49, over and over, whatever you started with.

All eight Noodle Boxes are $16.99 — Pad Thai, Kung Pao, Dan Dan, Teriyaki, Firecracker, Sweet Mongolian, Hong Kong Spice, Singapore Cashew — and all eight combos are $21.48. The seven Rice Boxes, from Butter Chicken to Korean Beef Bulgogi, do the same thing at the same two numbers. Chicken Sandwiches are $10.99 and their combos $15.48. Wor-Wonton Soup is $13.99 and $18.48; plain Wonton Soup $11.99 and $16.48. Subtract, and it is $4.49 every time.

Poutines follow the rule but with one price below the rest: five of the six are $16.99, while Traditional Poutine is $14.99, and their combos land at $21.48 and $19.48 respectively — still a $4.49 gap. The clean exception sits in Wings and Tenders. A six-piece combo is $19.48 against $14.99 for the wings alone, which is the usual $4.49; but the ten-piece combo is $23.97 against $20.99, a step of just $2.98.

Wings are the widest ladder on the menu

Traditional, breaded and boneless wings are all priced identically by count: $14.99 for 6 pieces, $20.99 for 10, $35.49 for 20 and $75.99 for a 50-piece Party Pack — the most expensive single item Wok Box sells. Chicken Tenders sit slightly apart at $14.99 for five and $23.99 for ten, and Crispy Chicken Bites are $14.99 for 7 oz and $23.99 for 14 oz.

Under $10, and the Value Menu

34 items come in below $5, which sounds generous until you see where they are. Nine of the 27 Beverages are 355 ml cans at $1.99, kids' juices are $1.49, and the Extras list — Kimchi, Bacon, Ginger-Soy Egg — is $2.49 each, with Rice, Side Noodles With Sauce and Naan-Bread at $3.99. Sidekicks is the genuinely cheap food section: French Fries $5.89, Curly Fries and Tater Tots $6.88, Green Onion Cakes $7.09, Onion Rings $7.49, and Potstickers, Spring Rolls and Cheesy Kimchi FireBalls at $7.99 apiece.

The four Value Menu entries are the only way to get a main under $13. Crispy Orange Chicken, Spicy Peanut and Teriyaki are $12.99 each — $4.00 less than the equivalent box — and Half Traditional Poutine is $8.99. Kids Menu items are $7.99 across the board, and the single dessert, twelve Sweet Bao Buns, is $6.49.

Do prices vary across Canada?

Wok Box operates as a franchise across several provinces, and Western Canadian locations — where the brand has the deepest footprint — do not always price the same as an Ontario or Atlantic store. The alcohol listings apply only at locations licensed to sell it. Combo contents and the $4.49 step are the parts most likely to hold when the base numbers move. Add your provincial tax to everything above.
